Along with the Introduction of Redmi K40, the company also introduced two more products at the Redmi K40 series launch event. The other two devices from Xiaomi introduced today under the Redmi brand are the Redmi K40 Pro and Redmi K40 Pro+. The main talking point of the Redmi K40 series is its design which is borrowed from its elder sibling, the Xiaomi Mi11 which has got a similar-looking camera module with slightly smaller in length but wider overall. The power and volume rocker both the buttons are present on the right side and make it look exactly similar to the Mi 11.
The Redmi K40 Pro and K40 Pro+ have a similar design to the regular Redmi K40 with some very small changes like an additional camera sensor. The Redmi K40 Pro/K40 Pro+ from Xiaomi comes with a 6.67-inch Full HD+ 120Hz AMOLED display which will make the navigation and overall UI smoother. The display gets certified with HDR 10+ and has a peak brightness of 1300 nits. The display in Redmi K40 is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 which makes it, even more, scratch-resistant. The processing power in Redmi K40 Pro/K40 Pro+ comes from an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 mobile platform which is based on 5nm architecture coupled with Adreno 660 GPU.
Speaking of some camera capabilities of the Redmi K40 Pro, the device gets a 64MP of the main camera with a Sony IMX686 sensor and f/1.89 aperture. There are 3 other sensors as an 8MP ultra-wide and a 5MP telemacro lens. On the front, we get a 20MP Samsung sensor.
