Vivo S7T with 6.44-inch AMOLED display and MediaTek Helio 820 SoC goes official

In a silent move, Vivo has now officially introduced a new smartphone in the Chinese market. The latest smartphone from Vivo comes under the S series and is called the Vivo S7T.

Talking about the device, the Vivo S7T comes with a 6.44-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with no information about the protection used. The Vivo S7T comes in two different configurations of 8GB or 12GB RAM and 128 or 256 GB of storage based on UFS 2.1. The company is using a fast RAM in the Vivo S7T as LPDDR4X. The processing power in Vivo S7T comes from an Octa-Core MediaTek Dimensity 820 chipset.

The Vivo S series has always been a camera camera-centric, especially the front camera. Keeping that reputation, the Vivo S7T also comes with a 64MP of the main camera with f/1.89 aperture and LED flash. There are two more sensors as an 8MP ultra-wide and a 2MP Macro lens. On the front side, we get a 44MP eye focus camera as main sensor and an 8MP ultra wide angle lens.

Pricing and availability:

The Vivo S7T comes in Jazz Black, Phantom Blue and Moonlight White colour variants. It will be available for purchase in China for ¥2698.

Considering the price, it doesn’t seem to be a very compelling product as we have many other alternatives in the price range. Another thing worth pointing out is that the Vivo S7T doesn’t looks much different from the Vivo V20 except MediaTek Dimensity 820 instead of a Qualcomm chipset and some other minor changes.
