In a silent move, Google is now announcing some new features and changes coming to the YouTube mobile experience. The company is changing the way we use YouTube on our mobile phones.

The company has now officially announced some new features and changes coming to YouTube mobile. The new features will be coming to the YouTube mobile experience on Android as well as iOS platforms.

1.Find what you’re looking for with Video Chapters:

Video Chapters is the first me feature added to the YouTube mobile experience this time. With this feature, you’ll now see a Chapter icon that will show you some suggestions and complete list 9f chapters you’re watching and you’ll want to watch.

2. A more streamlined player page:

The second new feature added to YouTube mobile is a much improved and streamlined player experience. The ‘Captions’ bottom is not hidden in the submenu anymore, it has got a more prominent location now which makes it available on a single tap. The AutoPlay toggle is also moved up, in the players so that it is available in a better location and easy to find out.

3. Use gestures to make YouTube more efficient and work for you:

With the new YouTube mobile overhaul, the company is looking to make the mobile experience for YouTube much much better. It is making gestures work on YouTube with support for newer gestures and UI improvements. Toggling any video to the full screen is now easier with new gestures. What you need to fo is swipe up from the center to enter the full-screen mode and just swipe down to go back to normal mode.

4. New suggested actions enhance experience:

Some more new features are being added to the YouTube mobile experience which will suggest you to Rotate if a video is better to be watched in rotate mode. It will also suggest you watch any specific video in VR if it is VR supported content.

5. Go to bed with Bedtime Reminders:

YouTube mobile already has a feature that reminds you to take a break from YouTube for a specific time set by you. Now the company is adding another such feature to YouTube which will ask you to take a break and go to sleep as it’s your bedtime.
