Earlier today we reported about Google launching pixel 4A smartphone for the global market as well as the Indian market. The Pixel 4a didn’t see any stage launch of any presentation. The official introduction happened through a blog post only from official Google blog.
In the same post, Google also confirmed that it will launch the Pixel 4A 5G and the Pixel 5 smartphones in late 2020. It it also confirmed from Google India blog posts that the pixel 4A 5G will not be coming to India until October this year. And on the other hand Pixel 5 and the Pixel 4A 5G variant, both will not be coming to India at all. So this is sad news for those who were expecting the Pixel 5 series to be available in India. Also, the 5G variant of Pixel 4a will now be coming to India and that will bring some more disappointment to Indian consumers. Google has also confirmed that the Google Pixel 4a 5G variant will be available for a price of $499.
Talking about some major differences between the 4G variant of Pixel 4a and the 5G variant of the same, we expect it to be the chipset used. The 5G variant of Pixel 4a is expected to be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G mobile platform which is an upgrade to the Snapdragon 730G mobile platform.
