Xiaomi launched its long-rumored Mi Band 5 with AMOLED color display in an online event in china. The Mi Band 5 from Xiaomi is nothing but a fitness band aimed at the budget price segment. The new Xiaomi Mi Band 5 comes as a successor to the Mi Band 4 which was introduced last year.
Mi Band 5 holds 1.1″ large AMOLED dynamic color display which is 20% bigger than its predecessor Mi Band 4 and supports 100+ customize themes come with an increased brightness up to 450 nits. The display of Xiaomi Mi Band 5 is protected by a 2.5D scratch-resistant glass panel.
Mi Band 5 supports 11 sports modes including 5 new anaerobic exercise mode along with heart rate, 24 hours sleep monitoring, real-time calorie consumption, and also provides women’s health function which helps women in tracking their own physiological period.
In terms of battery, Mi band 5 is equipped 125 mAh battery with up to 14 days battery life along with magnetic charging support.

The Mi Band 5 is available in two versions, the standard one is priced at ¥189 ( ₹2025 approx.) and the NFC version is priced at ¥229 ( ₹ 2455 approx.). It is available in Black color with 6 different color straps i.e. in Black, Blue, Purple, Orange, Green, Yellow and Pink colors.
The first sale of Mi Band 5 will be on 18th June at 10:00 AM.
